fold to check raise

Postby rjbrown1965 » Sun Jan 11, 2009 12:50 pm

Hi,

How do I filter a report showing the players that fold to a check raise on the flop or turn ?

Is it possible ?

Thanks

There isn't currently a 'faced check-raise' filter, but we will be adding more filters and I'll make sure this gets added to the list.
You could filter for 'bet' AND 'fold to raise' but that would find hands where people bet out and folded when raised too.
You could build a custom stat to count the situation you want for each player, and then use that stat in your reports to see how often each player acts as you describe.
Have a look at the Custom Statistics and Reports FAQ and some similar stats, and try building what you want.
If you you get stuck, please ask.

You can get a little closer with default filters by using Misc --> Flop --> In Position. If you bet and fold to a raise when you're in position you definitely got check/raised. This loses spots in multiway pots, but you might find that loss preferable to having hands where you were in fact just raised out by someone still to act behind you.

And I've added this filter to my list.

can we get an updated ETA for adding a filter for check raising? Also, the method above is best suited to look in late position. Anyone in position who CCPF and then R on flop will fit the bill.

Thanks for any update!

To be perfectly frank it depends on how much free time I have, how many people need remote sessions, that sort of thing.

I plan on releasing a new edition of my HUD sometime this week, after which I'm going to start working on some filters. However, I am going to be out of the country on vacation for the end of July, so it's unlikely that we'll really see anything until sometime in August.

My list of filters to add is fairly large, and they'll likely get all included in one push like the last time.
