Converted My PT2 Database... But Where Has it Gone?

Postby AcesOnFire » Sat Feb 02, 2008 1:11 pm

Hi there,

I Converted my PT2 database to PSQL, but it doesn't seem to appear in PT3. Any tips as to how I can find it?

You need to convert it in PT3. Go to the Database menu, Convert -> Convert PT2 Database.

Ah doing that now, I already did it once but it didn't import the hands, maybe I selected the wrong database first time round.

Now I am importing them I am getting ALOT of 'Encountered unexpected end of hand history' errors.... 2 per 1000 of a 145k hand database.

That's due to a bug in PT2.

AHA. No it's not. It's because (I think) it was trying to import PokerRoom hands. You're peobably right though :)

This is totally awesome Josh, a huge improvement, I'll give it a proper lashing see if I can squeeze any bugs out of it (I am actually very computer literate believe it or not, lol)!!!

It actually is. PT2 sometimes adds the first line of a different hand history when it stores the history for a hand. That's why those errors occur.
