When the real thing comes

Postby dj11 » Mon Feb 11, 2008 5:46 pm

Please don't forget to do this when the real release comes along.
Don't delete my database. You can disable the rest, or even remotely delete it, but please don't delete the database. It wouldn't be such a bad thing if they could be converted back into the original hand histories, but that would be more work than just leaving the database as is, and deleting the rest.
I expect that in the very unlikely event that I don't have a license in hand when the final release comes, that whatever version of the beta I have will suddenly stop working. No problem with that, but please don't do anything that would discard the hands I have saved. Eventually I will get PT3 and at that point I would want access to the hands I have dealt with already.

I do expect to be in a very long line on the day that the final release of PT3 happens, but who knows, I might be sitting in a foreign land at a final table and ..............posting.php?mode=post&f=15#
;)

We will certainly not be deleting any databases. What will happen is that you will be required to download and install the commercial version which will be a trial that is good for 30 days. So you will have 30 days to purchase PT3 after installing the trial. Even then, if you did not purchase, your database would still be in tact and accessible.

Best regards,
