password problem

HI i hope someone can help me because it's driving me mad..

I have already installed pt3 ans posgresql4.4 lotta of time but right now it doesnt work and i absolutely dunno why.

Firstly i installed pt3 on my new computer with my code and then postgresql with svcPASS83 password and everything was ok
but when i opened PT3 again after installing postgre to put the last password asked it didnt work.

I have tried svcpass dbpass svcPASS83 and even postgrepass but nothing to do.

need some help

Try following this tutorial - then it won't matter what password you use.

I'm affraid but i 'uninstalled posgresql before and now its the scvPASS83 password wich doesnt work so i can reach the application
you told me because its impossible to install posgresql right now

i can setup the password when i install postgresql4.4 please help me this is really annoying.

In that case click Start --> Accessories --> Right click Command Prompt and click Run as Administrator. In the command prompt run this command exactly:
net user postgres /delete

The user will then be deleted and the installer will recreate it for you.

i havn't the possibility of do that sir when i install postgresql it comes directly to the password step i cant do anything before that
i'm sorry but i dont understand your explanations.

If the problem is the PostgreSQL service user password, that is a Windows user that you can delete by following my instructions - once you've deleted it, the next time you run the installer it will accept whatever password you put in and re-create the user.

You mean do this in the starting menu where you can switch off you computer ,see all your programs...??

i see Start obv, accessories, then i dont know exactly what im suposed to do could you be more specific please i
