PostgreSQL

after aye start the free trial pt asks me to dowload PostgreSQL which i have and its stuck downloading at 9% for like 8h any 1 no how to fix this ?

Try restarting it - the download shouldn't take anywhere near that long.
If it fails again you can always install PostgreSQL manually - see the How to reinstall PostgreSQL guide. That shouldn't be necessary, though.

hello,i am new so i am confused a little,maybe someone can help me,i instaled pt3 and instaled postgreSQL but when i try to click connect on "configure postgreSQL server" error come
unable to connect to this database.please check the configur :?: ation,pls help me thx :?:

Click Start (and if you're in Windows XP click Run) --> Type in services.msc and hit enter. Look for PostgreSQL in the service list and if it's not started attempt to start it. If it starts properly try connecting again in PT3 and see if that works - if it doesn't try using the password postgrespass and see if that connects. If it won't start, please let me know what error you get when the startup fails.

I am having the same problem. I installed PT3 but I get the error message about not connecting to the db. I ran the msc services and I don't see the postgreSQL listed. Please help!!

If you don't see PostgreSQL in that list it means PostgreSQL is not installed - please install it as explained on our documentation page (either uninstall/reinstall guide will do, you don't need to follow the uninstall bits though) and then everything should work.
