Downloaded the trial and will not let me log in to software

It says unnable to connect to database please check configuration, any ideas please? I'm not to great with the technical side of computers. I have had holdem manager on my computer before and didn't like it so deleted the software that come with it, would this be affecting it? Many thanks Ryan

I have tried putting in postgrespass into the password and that doesn't work also, I then try to look for the posgressql program in the start menu and Its not there

Then please follow the uninstall/reinstall guide on our
documentation page to install PostgreSQL.
