This is the first time a try to use de PT3.

Then I click on the "Continue Trial" button and appears:

Configure PostgreSQL Server
Server: localhost Database user: postgres
Port: 5432 Password: dbpass

I click on the "Connect" button and appears a error mesage:

Unable to Connect
Unable to connect to this database. Please check the configuration.

I click on the "OK" button and then the "Cancel" button and a mesage appears:

Confirm Cancel
Are you sure you want to cancel? PokerTracker won't be able to operate without PostgreSQLinstalled and configured.

And the program is closed.

Can you help me?

If you have used another tracker please try the password "postgrespass".

Do you have PostgreSQL installed?
Click Start, type services.msc and hit enter. Do you see PostgreSQL on the list of services to start? If so, can you start it?

Is PostgreSQL installed on the machine? Do you see a PostgreSQL 8.4 folder inside Applications?

Yes I see and after I typed password postgres (not postgrespass or dbpass) PT3 began to work, but there is no any database there. What next? Help.

Click Database --> Database Management --> New then click the blue Browse link. That should list any PT3 databases that exist in your PostgreSQL installation - if you find your database there you can click on it then click OK and Connect and PT3 will connect to it (and you can set it as default/active after you connect).
