Trouble compacting data base

I recently downloaded ptv2 to my laptop and it has been running smoothly along with HUD. Today, at 5000 hands I was prompted to compact my data base and I keep getting the prompt that pt is unable to compact the data base because Hud or Gametime is on. This is not the case. Hud is off. Suggestions?

Restart the computer and try it again first thing after it comes back up without opening any other programs than PT.
