Purge Observed

My Summary->Hands showed several hundred more hands than my General Info.->Total Hands.
I expected that if I Purged "Observed Hands Only" that, afterwards, the two numbers would be the same. Not even close. Only ten hands were purged.
Was my expectation wrong?

Check some of the session hands where you are supposed to be an observer (not in the hand at all). Is your name listed in the hand history? Are there stats for you in that hand, even if it says you won/lost nothing? That's the only thing I can think of unless part of your database is corrupted.

Let me clarify something:
I was thinking that Observed Hands includes hands where I am seated at the table but sitting out the hand.
But maybe Observed Hands does not include these hands? Maybe Observed Hands are only the hands in my database where I wasn't in the game (at the table) at all?

That is correct.

For that reason I wouldn't be too concerned about the totals on the Summary tab since those take into account all hands loaded in the database regardless of if you were dealt cards or not.

No, there isn't.

Here's why I care so much.
I'm setting the Active Player not as me but as Player X. I'm then filtering for Exactly 2 Players At The Table. If my database contained no hands where I wasn't dealt in, then this filtering would return exactly the set of hands where player X and I played heads up. But since my database contains hands where I wasn't dealt in, the same filtering will return some additional hands, namely hands where player X played heads up with players other than me.
Can you see a way to exclude these additional, unwanted hands?

No, you won't be able to do this in the current version of the program.
