POKERSTARS patch for "unable to get game date(2)..." errors

I downloaded the patch and installed it to my PT stud folder and restarted my computer. When I opened PTS, it still said it was still version 1.05.03 and I got the same error when importing hands from Pokerstars. Any thoughts? Thanks.

Additionally...when i right click the above patch and "save link as", it is a file called "patchptO10503a.exe". But if i left-click it, the file saved is called "patchptS10503a.exe"

Left click it to download it.

Downloading it to the same folder isn't enough. Make sure you are installing the patch in the same folder where PTS is installed when it asks you during the installation process.

It'd be great if these updates were added to the official PTS download page as soon as they're made available.

I always make them available as beta patches on the forum first to make sure all issues are taken care of. After a lot of people have confirmed that the beta patch it is working I will make the patch official.

That's fine in theory, but if the patch is necessary for imports on the largest site around, perhaps some clue should be given on the download page. PT3 beta releases can be found alongside normal release builds on its download page.

In theory you're probably right, but PTS is a different program.
