error in calculating stats on winning network

Postby trumpet » Thu Nov 28, 2013 7:43 am

Dear support,

i play heads up sng on winning network and i've noticed this issue yesterday but i'm sure it has happened already in the past:

i was playing a series of games (rematches) vs a player and PT4 was working properly, at one point during the session i've noticed the following:

- the graph of chips won end EV chips equity were correct at least according to the results of the games (overall chips won) and the equity that the player had in different scenarios (this one i obviously based on my sense).
So overall the graph-tracking in terms of chips seems correct to me.
- the statistics showed in the little box on the graph page were wrong, in particular winnings, adj winnings, ROI, adj ROI i'm sure of the error because the graphs were clearly showing a negative trend both in chips won and EV equity
for the player while the results reported were positive and massively incorrect.

As i stated in the beginning i'm sure this has happened in the past at least with one other players that i've played a lot, i'm pretty confident that is aproblem that arise after several rematches (obv i cant be 100% sure about this).

The main problem is that given that the error is massive both in terms of $ won (real and adjusted) and in terms of ROI (real and adjusted) it completely f***k the tracking of my games and my whole database.

Can you please help me to fix this? (If you need i can send picture of the screenshot i've noticed yesterday)

Thanks

This is the output of the session i'm taking about, from villain' perspective.
as you can see both chips won and net expected chips won have a negative trend while the information box reports ROI=49.12%, ROI adj=38.73%, Cnet won = 3478 $, Cnet adj = 2743 $

Were all of the tournaments the same buy-in, or did you play different stakes? It's possible for chips to drop but winnings to increase if you lost small tournaments and won big ones.

If you compress the original hand history files for those tournaments and attach them to a Support Ticket we'll look into this for you.

it's not a buy-in problem so i need to send you the HHs file and open a ticket.
I've tried to open the processed HHs folder but the files are .phh / .dhh, also it seems that the numbers that identify the files in the HH folder are different than the tournament number that appear in pokertracker in the hand history replayer.
Can you please tell me how to identify those files? or is there a way to get the original HHs imported from the poker client?

Thanks

Unfortunately Winning's hand history filenames aren't descriptive so you will need to send us all the files from the relevant time period.
