PT4 Hud executable error

Postby Lorki » Tue Jan 31, 2012 9:51 am

Since I installed PT 3.11.7 Beta I get this error: "The PokerTracker Hud executable could not be launched." when start to Imoprt hands with HUD on. Now I installed PT4 Beta and I get the same message when I start Importing or Replayer. Please help so I can muck HM2.

That's odd - I haven't seen any problems launching the HUD process for a long time.
Where did you install them to? If you did a non-standard install it's possible that the HUD executable isn't being found properly - did you use the default path, and if not what did you change it to?
What version of Windows do you have?

Ok now this is really odd. I installed it to default location on C: disk (SSD) and the error exist even after reinstalls. But when i install it to D: disk that is not SSD , its working perfectly. This apllies for both PT3 and PT4. Also I run Windows 7.

I already expirianced something similiar with PostgreSQL. I install it to C (SSD) and its not working. when i put it to D it works normaly. Also database can be located on SSD disk.

I guess its has something to do with my computer.

Sounds like it - do you have any software installed that might be preventing writes on the C drive?

I have the same problem with v4.10.5 (the same with previous version, I made update when faced this problem). HUD is not working when PT4 is installed in SSD. It works fine when I installed it to the other disk. Any ideas how can I return to SSD, because PT4 was the main reason why I bought it :D
I didn't install any programs or made any changes before I got this error. Yesterday HUD was working fine.

That suggests that PostgreSQL is not running. If a reboot doesn't help click Start (in Windows) and type 'services' and open the Services window.
Is PostgreSQL in the list?
Is it started?
Can you start it?
