Any turn raise

Postby PumaPerez » Thu May 31, 2012 11:57 pm

hi,

i want to set my filters to see any situation where raise on turn occurs. if i set action and opportunities/any turn raise it always give me results only where hero raises. i tried to set "player is hero" on and off, but same results. i wanted to see result where villains raises me and i fold also. in short my goal is to see situations where any turn raises happens where hero was in hand.

can you lead me to filters i should set? currently i am only familiar with quick filters, but this should be right time to understand how to use real ones ;)

thanks

Filters only apply to the active player, so if you want to filter for hands where you either raise or face a raise you'll need to filter for both of those situations.

Go to Actions and Opportunities > Turn, and in the Raise Opportunity section tick 3Bet, 4Bet and 5Bet+ - this means that you faced at least a 2Bet.

Add that and the 'made any raise' filter separately so that they appear on separate lines on the Current/Active Filters page.
Click to select both lines and then click the 'OR' Selected button at the bottom.

thank you, now i understand it little bit more. so the villain raising is expressed by line i have oportunity to 3bet? so everytime i want to filter villains agressive action i must think in terms of what opportunity is there for me?
what about hands i want to review where i am not in hand? is it ok to just untick "Filter on active player" in this scenario?

btw i am looking at tutorials here on site and looks like in this this one ( https://www.pokertracker.com/guides/PT4 ... my-reports ) link to the simple filters tutorial doesnt work. https://www.pokertracker.com/guides/PT4 ... re-filters

If you want to review hands you're not in at all you would remove filter on active player. You might, in that case, be best off using the advanced filtering in the blue Filters link as you can use direct database values there (see the blue Insert link). Any flag you insert must be true and if you aren't filtering on the active player they can be true for anyone.

So for example if you inserted cash_hand_player_statistics.flg_f_3bet you'd see all and only hands where some player 3bet on the flop.

I'll make the appropriate person aware of the link that needs fixing.
