overview of notes

when i click on the noteeditor in the hud is it possible to size window by default so i dont have scroll and things like that.
So i can see all the notes by one click

The note editor window should now remember its size.
What version of PT4 are you using?

A couple of similar questions.

It does remember the total window size, but could it be possible to also make it remember the placement on the screen (or an option to this like fx pokerstars have an option to remember table positioning) and the size of the internal windows (manual notes and automatic notes) ?



This is what I would like, positioned not to cover the tables, and with a small window for manual notes since I rarely takes notes myself, and a large window for auto notes. That would be helpful for mass multitabling players, who could have notes open on a seperate monitor.

But when I open a new window it returns to normal size and positioning




Being a lazy player , maybe an option to have the window auto close after x seconds.

I think Kraada once told me you were working on something, but an opportunity to customize the note pop-up to show more than 12 notes. I think I would prefer 4 rows (1 for each street) if it were customizable.

The window snaps to the side of the table you opened it from on purpose. If all notes opened in the same place you could end up having notes open on two different players and acting because you were looking at the wrong player - this helps to alleviate some of those kinds of concerns.

There are plans to allow more than 10 notes to show in the tooltip - what do you mean by 4 rows though? I'm not sure what you're looking to see there.

For now, the pop-up shows like this:

Preflop note 1
preflop note 2
flop note 1
etc.
.
.
.
click for additional notes


If the pop-up could be customizable for the user, I would have:

preflop note 1 * flop note 1 * turn note 1 * river note 1
etc.
.
.

For me, having many notes, that would be much more readable than having to scroll down to find the notes for the relevant street. I have no problem with a very large pop-up window, since it disappears with mouse movement so a window with room for fx 4 rows with 40 notes each would be great for me. Then again, others might not like what I like,
thus user customizability would be perfect. Not being a programmer, I have no idea if this would be easy, difficult or impossible, but almost everything else in PT4 is customizable so I was hoping

Same goes with positioning of the note editor window, although I see your point for many players. But I am sure other players would prefer the window not interfering with the tables.

The last question, could it be made that it remembers the size of the 2 internal windows for manual and auto notes, and not just the size for the whole window ?

I'm not sure how easy that would be to do but thanks for explaining it - I see what you're going for now.

The request to remember internal aspects of the note window has been requested before and I'll add your support to that request.

i also think it would good with something like jesper is suggesting. I wouldnt mind either with a big pop-up.
