HUD Size and readability problem.

Postby patrik90 » Tue Mar 26, 2013 12:07 pm

I've read the guides on your website but it seems like I can't configure my HUD properly to make it easily readable and fit my poker windows size.

In PT3 I have as HUD configuration: Geneva fontsize 6; but in PT4 it seems that even a Geneva fontsize 10 is hardly readable. ( I use solid black background as u can see in the screenshot I've made: http://img32.imageshack.us/img32/7445/immagine1dn.png ).

What can I do to have a more readable HUD and to use the least possible space? In fact I see there is much space between the 3 lines of my HUD, also too much space seems to be between text and borders of the HUD... how can I reduce this "dead space" ?

Thanks in advance for any reply.

In PT4 the Hud scales with the size of your table windows, and it looks like you have your tables pretty small so the Hud will have been scaled down quite a lot.
You can turn this option off if you prefer to define the exact size of your Hud and always keep your tables about the same size.

Hud > Edit Hud Options > General Settings > Advanced > Allow Vector Scaling

I've tried to disable Vector Scaling, but it didn't help... How come I can get a readable HUD with PT3 but not in PT4? Any other suggestions to make it more readable? It's like chars haven't undefined borders and are not bright enough.

How can I reduce the space between numbers, and the space between numbers and borders?

Is there a way to reduce the size of the "Add note button"?

When you disable vector scaling the Hud should appear at the defined size - didn't that happen for you?
Space between stats is defined by the "Padding" setting. Currently this setting isn't visible by default - you need to make the section wider to see the data field - see this post.

The size of the note icon can't be configured yet, unless you change the icon file it uses.

Click the green question mark in the Hud profile editor to watch the video tutorial for more information on working with the Hud options.
