I'll show your post to our lead Mac developer and ask for a bit more clarity, thanks.

Thanks. Looking forward to an update about this. If I have the chance, I'll try it on a real money SnG later tonight but if it worked on Play Money, it should work on real money SnGs.

Sorry for the double post but I just played a HU SnG for the sake of testing PT and everything worked correctly. Hands imported fine, HUD showed and the results were correct. The real testing will still be on Sunday but, for now, it seems to be working perfectly. I'll update you guys once I finish Sunday's session anyway.

Hey,

Thanks for the info.

I made all the backups and installed Yosemite. When I ran PT it didn't ask me to install a new PostgreSQL version. Are you talking about fresh installs only? Because I tested it on a Play Money table and everything worked but I still have 9.0.10 installed. FYI, I just installed Yosemite on top of Mavericks.

If PostgreSQL is already installed (any version) PT4 will not install it.

Oh ok. I thought that PT would install 9.3 once it detected Yosemite was the OS now even it was already installed. As I said, I just installed Yosemite on top of Mavericks so everything else stayed the way it was and everything is, apparently, working just fine. Again, I'll let you know how Sunday session goes once it ends.

Thank you!

Sunday session over and everything went perfectly. Well, not everything since Yosemite has some annoying bugs that shouldn't be there for a final version but, regarding PT4, everything worked as it should.

That reboot is expected behavior - we need to modify system memory values for PostgreSQL to properly run. Let it reboot and everything will work properly. PT4 and PostgreSQL are both working properly on the latest OS X release.

You can convert a HM2 database into a PT4 database if you have one via the Convert Holdem Manager Database button in our Setup Assistant.
