Postgresql problem in MAC

Earlier, i had installed 9.0 but recently i took out whole PT4 and postgresql. I randomly deleted application to uninstall them as it is usually done in MAC with other applications. Not sure if there's any other way.

Couple of days i reinstalled PT4 and Postgresql 9.2, it worked fine for half hour and all of sudden HUD disappears and hands importing stops and PT4 hangs. I saw a message when i installed PT4 that postgresql 9.2 version was unstable. Now i want to uninstall 9.2 and re-install stable version 9.0 or 9.1. Kindly help me here.

Also i saw article in PT4 guide, it says:

Execute (double click) /Library/PostgreSQL/8.4/uninstall-postgresql which will uninstall the PostgreSQL installation.

This command doesn't work, execute command doesn't exist. Also when i do this, nothing happen.

Thank you

Our recommended version is 9.0, and that is what PT4 currently installs.
To run the uninstall command for 9.0 you'll need to replace the "8.4" in the command with "9.0".
