NoteCaddy crashing after update PT4 to 4.18

after updating PT to 4.18 and also updating postgresql to version 16.3-2 I get the folowing Fatal Error message.

Pokertracker 4.18 loads the database correctly.

We are aware of this issue and investigating what causes it.

Please allow us some time to get this sorted in a PT4 patch or update.

As a workaround to keep using NC it is possible to uninstall PT4 and rollback to a previous version from 4.18 (make sure to have a backup of the old DB in the previous postgresSQL version or at least the hand historys to create a new DB in the old PT4 version).

I will make sure to get the information needed to the developers in order to provide a solution for this issue as soon as possible and keep you posted here as soon as there are any news on this.

We were now able to understand this issue and now have a fix for it.

Notecaddy will only work with postgresSQL up to version 12.

PT4 does not need us to use version 16.

In order to be able to use NC again with PT4 do the following:

- Uninstall postgresSQL 16. Run the uninstaller inside this folder: C:\Program Files\PostgreSQL\16
- Install version 12 of postgressSQ from here: https://www.enterprisedb.com/downloads/ ... -downloads

About the databases:

Any DB that was used and updated with SQL 16 while doing the PT4 update will not work with SQL 12.

If you did a backup of the DB before updating PT4 then use that backup to restore it with SQL 12.

If you did not backup the DB at that time you will have to create a new DB and import the hand hiistorys to that new DB.

Hi,
my notecadddy is also crashing since update.
I´m using sql 12.18 and created a new database and reimported hands after the update.

I get this popup every 10 minutes and have to restart notecaddy.
