Which version of PostgreSQL are you running? You can find out by checking to see whether you have an 8.3 or 8.4 (the most likely versions) folder in C:\Program Files (x86)\PostgreSQL\

8.3 version.

I also noticed something non postgresql related.
When i am looking at my sessions and want to replay a hand. i used to double click on that hand an a window would appear to go to the replay function.
But now it still opens but it always hides behind the main PTR screen. anyway i can make sure that the little screen comes on top of the main screen?

btw, your service is awesome. very quick replies!
you rock

Hm, that really should've been there then.

Regardless, you can follow the Advanced steps in this post and it's basically the same things that the tuning wizard would do for you.

I believe the popping-under problem is a known issue but if you report it, we'll make sure to let you know once the issue is fixed.

Hey,

After trying the manual input method. it didn't work. It asked me to create a new database but it failed.
so i went back with my backup file.
And suddenly i found the tuning wizard thing. I downloaded it under another section of my pc. 'sorry'
So i tried it using this way. and the tuning wizard changed the files in the same way i did with manual input.
but when starting PT3 it asked me again to create a new DB. and it failed again.

I guess i have to backup my DB again uninstalling postgresql + pokertracker and re-installing it and doing the tuning thingy before i create and restore my DB.
Can you confirm if this is the way to go or can i try something else instead of this drastic measure :-)

The Tuning Wizard should not affect any running databases - all it does is change a few configuration settings in the configuration file.

Please create a support request and we'll help you get this straightened out.

I have the same problem. New 64 bit Windows 7 machine, installed v3.07.1 beta with PostgreSQL 8.3 included, and I can't find the application stack builder. It'a not in the start menu, and I haven't been able to find it anywhere. Where was it?

You can download the Application Stack Builder separately, or follow kraada's link:

I had done the manual procedure already. I just wanted to know if I had the stack builder, or if there was something missing from the PT3 download.

You don't need the stack builder - as long as PT3 is working then nothing is missing: we don't need anything special in PostgreSQL.
