Got everything messed up!!!

I just dont know how do i make PT3 working.Why the hell is it so difficult??? I use windows7. I have installed the trial version of PT3 and then when it asked me to install postgresql i let it continue. Then i got some error and had to abort the installation. Then i downloaded postgresql 8.4 from http://get.enterprisedb.com/postgresql/ ... indows.exe and installed it. After that i got something like stack builder and i got some error there i aborted the installation of stack builder. Now when i start poker tracker 3 i just cannot connect to the server. It shows a message like "Unable to connect server to database". What do i do???Everbody just using poker tracker and i just dont understand how did they install this complicated setup. Somebody please help.

Stack Builder is not required to use PT3. You should be able to connect to a PostgreSQL 8.4 installation using whatever password you chose during the installation process (the default port of 5432 and user of postgres and host of localhost should all work for you). If that does not work please follow the reinstallation guide available on our documentation page and that will walk you through everything step by step.
