PostgreSQL Error - Cannot connect to database

I am having the same problems also, support have not been much help either - Are we really still in the day an age where u cannont download software run it and it works, i didnt think so until now, i feel like im 15 years old again trying to install a game on a stoneage computer. I think with all the problems im just going to try holdem manager instead. If a program has this many issues when trying to install it imagine the defects once u actually get it working. If this helps anyone here are the logged files...

same problem, im running vista and most of the support already posted is useless as its all xp

That situation tends to result when an anti-virus or firewall blocks PostgreSQL from starting. Please see our Firewall Configuration Guide and make sure if you are using any software listed there that it is configured properly.

I have already completly turned off all firewalls and antivirus software to see if tht made any difference but still no luck, there must be someone out there who has overcome the same problem, speak up please if anyone could help, i am on the verge of giving up with this product.
