Bodog sng very buggy

Postby ihatepostgreSQL » Mon Feb 28, 2011 1:19 am

i downloaded the patch hoping it would fix a lot of the bodog bugs with the sngs but they are still there...

this patch i think made it worse...

can i roll back to the other patch some how?

1) tables get the hud then it goes away without warning, and then comes back again later without warning.
2) If i am playing a sng waiting for the hud to show and i sign up with another sng then the hud comes on it goes to the empty table but shows all the names of the first table i was playing at. This does not happen every time but it happens often, and more common after playing 2 or 3 games back to back.
3) well i guess it is just 2 things that i can think of now and explain but i hope you guys patch it up soon. it is the same problems (if not worse) than when i first brought up these points in a different post many months ago.
4) okay i got another one fast. sometimes the table will get 2 huds and it covers the real hud. so i think i am playing someone loose when they are tight then i move the all the fake huds to an empty seat stacked on one another.

i hope all this helps

how do i roll back patch?

since oct/Nov i do a few tricks that help.

1) i do not stack tables one on the other. i tile them. (when they are stacked the huds just go crazy and it is too hard to fix.
2) i use the option to have the hud always on top.

those 2 things made PT usable for me after that older post.

since the new patch seems things are way worse, as far as how often the the problems with the hud happen. it seems to record all the data correct just the hud messes up so often.

it is bad

(i was playing on Fulltilt and PT worked soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
(i am so jealous that Fulltilt is that smooth and reliable compared to bugdog)

just thought of one more thing that might help fix the bugdog sngs.

the huds get confused when i open many sng tables with the same names. like all double up 7.00 tables.

seems to be mostly a problem when many tables have the same names other than the roman numerals

This is the first time I've heard of this. What is your ticket number?

We do our best to fix the issues that get reported - right now there aren't any reported and confirmed issues with Bodog. If you're not using our latest beta version please upgrade to 3.09.4, available on our download page. If you are, please report this problem along with your log files - we'll be able to use them to confirm any problems and get things working properly in the future for you.

who knows maybe next year you guys will confirm the problem no worries...

I do not mind playing bugdog and having 3 tables with a hud and 1 missing a hud at random.

i also do not mind so much how the wrong hud mounts on players at a different table.

and even how i will get 3 different HUD from the 3 different tables all on one table.

I do not even mind that when i finish playing a sng and buy into the same type of sng the old HUD magicly re-appears with all the old names and does not go away when new players sit at the table.

( i am just trying to help you guys fix this, one thing i noticed that might help you guys figure out what is wrong with the unconfirmed problems, i had a guy sit directly across from me at 2 tables at the same time and when this happened the hud seemed to get confused. because it had his name correct but everyone elses name was off on both tables.)

I ended up just turning off the hud and playing naked because it is just so non-dependable

Fulltilt HUD = 10 out of 10
BugDog HUD = 4 out of 10

You are the only one reporting these kind of problems at the moment, so your log files (along with hand history files and screenshots) would really help.
