Delete database

Postby Helveticus » Wed Dec 14, 2011 4:10 pm

Hello

I'm still testing PokerTracker, so I don't have the feature to delete a database. Unfortunately I created a database I don't want anymore.

How can I delete this database directly in postgresql?

Using the psql command line you can use the DROP TABLE command, or if you use PGAdminIII you can right click the database and use the "Drop Database" option that appears in that menu.

Thank you, it worked.

I connected PokerTracker on my virtual machine to a database on the host through the ip address. Now I changed the host ip address, but with the trial version I cannot edit the linked database in PokerTracker. So how can I connect to the host again?

You can edit the save values in the PokerTracker.cfg file - it's a text file located in the PokerTracker/Data/Config folder (which is likely in C:\Program Files (x86)\).
