B Champan is correct - the Merge software changed the way their hands are written.

We have a fix ready and are just doing some final testing to make certain everything works properly. I expect a new beta will be released within a few hours.

I'm a fairly new user (18May) and I've never updated my software before. How will I be notified when this is changed?

We post release notes on Twitter and Facebook if you follow us in either place, but if you start up PT3 (or PT4 for that matter) and there's a new release you get a popup window telling you so with a link to download the new version.

To update, download the new version, close PokerTracker, and run the new installer. Once it finishes, restart PokerTracker and that's it. The new release for Merge should be out within an hour at this point I believe.

You call the latest update "preliminary support". Does "preliminary" stand for "it doesn't work yet, but it says that it downloads hands and the HUD shows up so users will be happy"?

I'm asking because a lot of hands are imported incorrectly. For example, lots of hands won at the river without showdown are incorrectly reported as split pots, and the won amount is actually imported as lost.

These errors make the HUD totally unreliable. I would have preferred a working version later, to a half-assed patch sooner...

Sorry for the tone, but this is quite annoying: these mistakes do cost us actual money, you know... :(

It is not working correctly for me either. It logging won pots as lost pots.

I downloaded the Beta version, but my problem is I simply cannot get the HUD to work, because PT3 says it cannot find the files to monitor.
I did the auto detect, but still nothing. It knows MERGE is running, but cannot find any files.
Please Help!

Since Merge changed the format of the histories it is possible that something changed which causes the won pots to be imported incorrectly.
Please compress the hand history file for one of these hands and attach it to a Support Ticket so that we can investigate.

Please post your ticket numbers here so that we can get this sorted ASAP.
Thanks.
