importing previously played hands?

Hello, i used the trial version of poker tracker 3 late last year and used it to import all the hands i had played or was playing at the time. Just yesterday i purchased the software and was eager to update my hands, but i am not having much luck previously all i had to do was make sure the software was selected and click on auto import, but nothing seems to be coming up although there must be a good few thousand hands that i have played since i used the trail version i have also used the manual import and had no luck any ideas am i doing something simply wrong?

With that many hands the best way is to click File --> Setup Assistant. Just click next through the various setup stuff if it is already configured, then PT3 will import any hands you've played since the last time the hand history folders were cleaned out and it will be much faster and more effective than using auto import for you.
