Upgraded PT3 to PT4, Multiple Basic Import Problems

OK here's the first, for the HUD not appearing on PP (it appears on PS): 125129.

And the 2nd, for being unable to import the .pt3hud files: 125130.

sdlsdlsd: please submit the 2 old PP histories that were choking import, preferably the entire files. We can't be 100% certain about a fix without them. Thanks.

Also, shouldn't it be showing some sort of default/simple hud on a fresh install so you can see if it's working? When i'm observing and importing hands on Party, no hud or icon is visible, despite the hud being active (i can tell it is from the menus, since it allows me to stop/restart it).

Exact same has happened to me, although the root cause is Party is no longer writing hand histories to disk

Verified by running Party without PT4 open, nothing is written into the Hand History directories. PP tech support say they their tech team has been informed and they'll try to fix it

My issue is different. With FreePHG observed hands *are* written and imported.

Absolutely! Observed hands don't get logged. Party isn't logging any hand histories at all, and it's not just me affected.

However, thanks for the heads up on FreePHG - just tried that out and it works! Brilliant - hand history issue patched if I set the config file to log all hands, and now I get observed hands too.

Bump for ticket 125130 - imported HUD stats aren't laid out the way i had them in PT3. Instead, each player's stats appear stacked on top of each other in 8 evenly distributed "piles". Here's what it looks like, it's easiest to see on seat 3 & 4:
