Invalid Registration Code

Postby tony_1010 » Fri Mar 29, 2013 4:13 pm

Hi, I bought PT4 a while ago, believing it would be ready for mac earlier.

Now that it is finally out my registration code is not working.

Any help?

Please make sure you're using your PT4 registration code ending in D2A98E - it is still valid. You can find it on your registration codes page.

I have similar problem. I purchased PT4 for windows last Sept. I tried downloading and registering mac version (to save from rebooting to windows everyday) and it says invalid code. My code does NOT end in the digits you posted fwiw. Are the windows codes not applicable to Mac? Because it says up to 2 computers (I assume that could mean OS's just as well).

Thanks!

I see that purchase - the code ending in C71143 should work. The codes are cross platform, but you can sometimes get an "invalid code" error if you have a firewall blocking PT4 from contacting our registration server (even though it's not normally a Mac issue, it seems worth mentioning). If you're running a firewall do make sure there's no blocking going on. If you're not, please enable logging via Configure -> Options -> Logging Enabled, restart PT4, reproduce this problem and then report it via our support system with the log file - that will help us figure out what is going on here and get it fixed for you. You can find that file by clicking File --> Show User Data Folder in the main PT4 window - the file we need is the text file called PokerTracker4 that is in that folder.

Hi,

I also have a problem with an invalid registration code. I purchased PT3 on Jun 13 2011 and I remember being relieved I bought it after the cutoff date for a free upgrade to PT4. When I enter my PT3 license however it says it's invalid, and under my registration codes I only have my PT3 code and the PT4 beta code which is also not valid.

Please advise!

The PT3 code is not valid for PT4, you will need to get a separate PT4 code. If you add the equivalent PT4 version to the PT3 version that you purchased to your cart you will see the discount that you qualify for - and even if it's a 100% discount you still need to go through the process.

Hi, another question regarding registration codes.

I am trying to install PT4 on my other computer but it says that the registration code is not valid. Am I right in assuming my registration code is valid for two machines?

Cheers

The code is valid for use on two machines - you can get that error if a firewall is keeping PT4 from accessing our registration server, so please make sure whatever you are using is configured to allow PT4 through.

As far as I can see the Firewall is switched off in System Preferences. What other configurations should I check? I am running OSX Lion 10.8.3
