SNG analysis on PT4?

Postby ActionOnMe29 » Tue Jun 18, 2013 11:35 am

Hi guys,

I recently changed from HM2 to PT4 (mainly because they dont have Mac support!!!) and I was looking for some game analysis to improve my game, mostly for Sit and Go and MTT. HM2 has something called Sit and Go Wizzard and I was hoping to find something similar tool for PT4.

Any feedback will be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

We have a built in ICM calculator that you can find via Tools -> ICM - and there are ICM quizzes there as well. Also, whenever you're replaying a tournament hand in a SNG at the final table (if they're single table SNGs you'll see it every hand) you can see the ICM values via the small green ICM box. You can then evaluate push/call decisions based on various player models - those models are defined in Configure -> ICM Opponent Models.

In general, no - we need to know all of the prizes in order to be able to calculate the ICM values and in scheduled tournaments that isn't the case.
For SNG MTTs with a fixed structure it works at the final table when it is a tournament structure that PT4 knows about.
