creating a custom pop-up

hi i have been using the coffee hud lite for pt4 and i customized some of its parts.

i was wondering how can i incorporate and custom pop-up where it will show me the ROLF 12BB SB chart from the merc ebook

First you need to built the chart into a popup; that takes some work but is definitely doable. Then you just assign that popup to a hud group or stat. There is nothing difficult about making such a chart, just lots of fiddling with the HUD popup editor.

how do i build the chart into a popup? im not very tech savy. are there any pointers , tips where i can study them?

Go into the Hud -> Edit Hud Profiles window and start by watching our tutorial video on creating HUDs by clicking the ? in the circle at the bottom left of the screen.

See the image. That's prolly something like you would do if you wish to get such a chart done. Nothing mystical there, just add lots of "Text"-elements with the desired content and coloring in a grid shape. This will create you a popup that you can then assign to any HUD-element, i.e. group or some specific stat.

IIRC, there is a bug/feature in the popup-system that requires you to put at least ONE real stat there (heros name will do) in order for the popup to show.

There's also a "Blank" stat in the Warehouse that won't display any data if you really want.

is there a way where i can make a pop from excel and upload the file on pt4? and assigng it as a pop to a stat?

i imported this HUD since his grid waaay better than what i can come up with and i plan to just customzie it to the ROFL chart.

downloaded the file but i get an error when i try to import. i get this message


unable to import file
reason PT4 hud profile version 1019, expected 1018.

does anyone know what this means?

That means it was put together in our internal version currently - you'll need to wait for the next PT4 release before it imports. It should be available soon though.
