PartyPoker import uses too many CPU resources

Postby manas3 » Thu Nov 14, 2013 6:52 am

Hi,
I have problem with PT4 v4.10.5
I have no poker software running, I have no hands (no files) in PartyPoker hand history folder. I run pokertracker, and when I click on Get Hands While Playing, PT4 starts to use 30-40% of my CPU, and this remains same when I wait for time, never get CPU under 25%. But what is PT4 doing? In this time there is nothing to do for PT4 though, but still eating big amount of resources of my CPU. When I uncheck Get Hands From Site While Playing checkbox in partypoker configuration, the problem disappear (but this is not solution of course I only try to write as much as possible about problem). I have also PokerStars configured in PT4 to get hands, and this problem is not there, so only for PartyPoker import.
My database for PartyPoker is 4,5GB, I did all housekeeping.

Is there any solution or at least explanation?

Thanks for help.

Please restart PT4 using the logging enabled link on your Start Menu, reproduce this problem and then report it via our support system with the log file - that will help us figure out what is going on here and get it fixed for you. You can find that file by clicking File --> Show User Data Folder in the main PT4 window - the file we need is the text file called PokerTracker4 that is in that folder.
