HUD doesn't appear (ZOOM)

Postby delMartinez » Tue Dec 03, 2013 4:11 pm

It stoped working after latest ps software update. Does anyone have the same problem?
I really hope it is not going to be as it was last spring when HUD crashes after every update so pt3 was basically useless.

Please try restarting your computer and then restarting everything in the proper order as sometimes after updates that is all you need to do. I am not aware of a general problem with Zoom at this point in time.

I should add that it stopped importing at all for me. It's not just that the HUD isn't working anymore.

Make sure that you restarted BOTH PokerStars and PT3. We have a report in the PT4 forum of a similar error that was cleared by restarting everything.

If that does not work, please restart PT3 using the logging enabled link on your Start Menu, reproduce this problem and then report it via our support system with the log file - that will help us figure out what is going on here and get it fixed for you. You can find that file in the C:\Program Files (x86)\PokerTracker 3\ folder - the file we need is the text file called PokerTracker that is in that folder.

I have the same problem after todays Pokerstar update.

I follow all the normal steps, the HUD is not working. I closed the whole PC and rebooted, the HUD is not working. I reinstalled PT3. The HUD is not working.

What actually happens on the zoom table: The HUD loads, with random players who are not on the table. and then doesnt refresh anymore.

I will run a log (try to, never done before) if I do not see a fix tomorrow.

Best,
Mike

The Zoom Hud is working fine for me with PT3. Which version of the PokerStars software are you using - e.g. .com, .eu or a country specific version? In the PokerStars lobby menu go to Help > About PokerStars - what client version do you have?

It's the EU version for me (English language)

The pokerstars version is: 6 (Build 7487)

Thanks for your attention. I'll run the log if I come home from work if needed

Best,
Mike

The PokerStars.com software has just updated for me as well (for reference: build 7493) and it does look as if that doesn't work with PT3 for the Zoom Hud.
I will report this to the development team, but in the meantime the Zoom Hud does still work in PT4.

PT3 will reach its end of life next summer and after that it will no longer be updated for site changes like this, so we advise PT3 users to take advantage of the current discount to upgrade to PT4 for more frequent updates (as well as all the advantages that PT4 has over PT3 anyway).
