Installing Error

Wanted to install PT3, but you need to install PostgreSQL first. Owkay, never done this before. The manual says, you should leave these untouched:

Owkay, but when I click on install, I get this:

"Translation" in English: [ivjx]"There has been an error in opening the installationlogbookfile. Check if the location of the logbookfile excits and if it isn't in "only reading" mode"[/ivjx]

PS2: everything is "run as administrator"
PS3: I never installed PostgreSQL before on my pc

Please open the PokerTracker.log file and paste its contents here.

Owkay, there is no "pokertracker.log" file ... the map "logs" is empty ...

If you run PT3 by double-clicking the application in the directory (and not by clicking the icon on your desktop or start menu), do you get the same message?

Maybe this information helps: after I press "ok" in the first error, I get this:

When I click "create", I get this:

Then ok:

The problem is that PostgreSQL isn't installed on your computer. PT3 can't do anything until it is. I'm going to leave this to Derek and some of the other posters here, who know more about PostgreSQL installation and configuration.

YES, I got it running !! Don't know how, but it runs !!
(I turned off every firewall on my pc, maybe that was the problem)
