Update Cache working?

Postby Thorarin » Fri Oct 03, 2008 11:25 am

I imported some new stats from the repository and even created some of my own. I then updated the cache with the housekeeping feature.

All my existing reports still work. But now when I create a new report, regardless whether I use one of the new stats or not, I get the following error:

Unable to execute query: SELECT sum(cnt_hands) FROM ( SELECT (count(holdem_hand__player_statistics.id_hand)) as "cnt_hands" FROM holdem_hand_player_statistics WHERE ((count(holdem_hand_player_statistics.id_hand))>=20 AND (count(holdem_hand_player_statistics.id_hand))<700) UNION SELECT sum(holdem_cache.cnt_hands) FROM holdem_cache WHERE 1=1 ) AS CacheTable; Reason: Fatal Error (ERROR: aggregates not allowed in WHERE clause)

For this particular report I just grabbed Hands and only used that stat. It was just a test to see if an existing statistic still worked. It failed. Is something wrong with updating the cache? By looking at this error it seems like it is a problem with the cache. I've restarted several times. I've cached about 6 times. I've even exported and re-imported 3 times. I even created a new database. I keep getting the same error.

This is frustrating.

Can you reproduce this with logging enabled, then attach the PokerTracker.log file and the exported report to a support ticket?

Ticket 34979

I've also tried switching back and forth between Beta 18 and Build 3. Occurs in both places which is why I think it is a cache or db problem. Newly created statistics seem to work when I insert them on other tabs. It just seems to be this report tab that throws errors for me.

I got sick of waiting for someone to respond to my ticket. I completely uninstalled both PT3 and postgresql. Before even attempting to import my new statistics, I tried creating a new report and got the same error. It seems maybe it might only have to do with creating new reports and not so much the cache.

Anyone else have this issue? I can't imagine it is just me. I just reinstalled everything.

Just a quick update on this....

I spent the weekend re-doing and customizing my HUD for customized positional stats. The stats are fine and they work fine in the HUD and also on all other tabs in PT3. The issue here is with the Reports Tab. I can add and modify the existing FIsh list with all new and existing stats and all works good. When I try to add a new custom report it fails whether the stat I use is new or existing. This happens with both Beta 18 and also Build 3.

Again, I can't be the only one experiencing this. I re-installed everything this weekend. I am currently stuck with only the default report that I can modify and change as I wish but am unable to add more reports at this time.
