hey guys, I haven't been playing on Party since the update that they did on the 23rd. I was looking to play on party again and just read that they switched the HH back to the old format? Is there any reason to update to this version of PT now that this is the case?

Not really, but you should always try to be using the most recent patch.

I have installed the patch from the first post and have problems when I import hands from Party. When I select a txt. file, it only imports one hand, the rest have following error message: "Error finding player (pokerplaya) who won money from the pot in game #7048409847"

If I import the same file again Pt2 imports just one new hand and then gives the same error message. Any clue why it's like this?

I'm on Vista with admin right for Pt2. Pt2 could not change regional settings by itself when it asked to do it and I accepted. I did it manually though - I chose English (USA).

What does the version number say in the title bar of the PT window?

Where did you get these files you are trying to import? Why are you selecting a file manually instead of using the auto-import window? Is this file not one that Party saved to your hard drive?

The version number in the title bar is: 2.17.03d

I forgot to say that I got the files from PT3! I exported them from PT3 to my hard drive and then tried to import them manually to PT2.

The problem then is probably that there is no indication at the end of each hand that tells PT2 that the hand is over. There should be a "Game XXXX starts." line at the end of each hand to indicate one hand is over and another has started.

Yes you are correct. I compared my exported .txt hand histories with my processed .hhf hand histories. In the processed hh there are these "Game XXXX starts." line at the end of each hand. And in my exported hh from PT3 the "Game XXXX starts." lines aren't there.

So it would be really nice if you could fix this problem with the export function for the next release ;)

I'm not involved in PT3. Please post this issue on the PT3 forums so that they can get it corrected.
