Advanced Hud Config for Tourney's

Is this a 'Holdem Tournament Player Statistics' stat?
Are you able to add it and see it in a report like the 'Known Starting Hands Summary' report?

In answer to your questions; yes its in the 'Holdem Tournament Player Statistics' and no its not popping up in any report. I updated the cache after i imported the stat, its the Mzone-collor from the download posted by sookmctourie on page 3 of this post.

I imported all the stats, see them in the configure => stats. They compile. So that all seems to be ok. Can't find anything in the forum thats discusses anything about stats not appearing, so i must be doing something very newby like wrong. Also i updated to the latest build, but that didn't fix anything with the stats. Rebuilded the cache +/- 5 times.

If anybody is using the same stat, please tell me where it absolutely should show up, i'm going to continue "checking things".

The reason you are not able to see the stat from the config Hud For Trny's is because it is unavailable to the Hud. When I created the stat, I tested it and trouble shooted it from the Reports section. The next step was to test it in the HUD. But like you, I found it was not available for inclusion in the Hud. I don't know why exactly, but I suspect the problem is with the table field cnt_players, which is used to arrive at the total antes. Kraada was looking into this some time ago but I have not heard back from him. However, all this is now a non issue. Kraada's new Advanced Hud for Trny's will be out soon and it apparently has the mzone built into it.

Thanks it was driving me kinda nuts. So we are all anticipating kraadas advanced UD .

I already had some suspicion that some data will not be available at some times. Still don't exactly see how the different tables are linked. I am a programmer myself so i understand applications and databases. The lookup functions threw me off abit, making me think no automatic joins are done in the background and we are required to use these lookup functions to lookup data (sound obvious). But looking at some of the stats they do seem to be able to retreive data from other table just by putting fields from them in column or stat. Maybe i should take a look at the database itself (wish it was ms sql, easier for me to get into and more portable, but thats a different issue).

Is there anybody from poker tracker that can elaborate on the underlying datamodel and access to it within the stats? Trial and error takes a lot of time

Hi,

Yes, I don't know why, but some of my personnal stats don't appear in HUD configuration screen and the Mzone stat seems to be in the same case. To make this stat available in the HUD, I've created a variable with the same definition (amt_before / ( amt_antes + cnt_blinds)) and simply put the name of this variable in the the Mzone-colored Value Expression. Then the stat become available in the HUD, but when I use it in the HUD all the stats diplay in the HUD (VP/IP, Number of hands, ...) are wrong.
The overall strangest is that when I use the mzone stat in reports, the values calculated are correct (for both stats, the original and the one using a variable) !!

ps : there's a mistake in the color definition of the Mzone-colored stat uploadded, in the conditions #mzone# has to be replace by #Mzone-color#

The introduction of a variable into the stat has been experimented with before. But like you, when I ran the new mzone stat in the Hud it affected my other stats as well. Once I removed it the other stats began to display properly. With regards to the error in the color conditioning, I was aware of it, but since it was not affecting the results in the Reports section, I did not make any mention of it. Hopefully we will hear from Kraada soon.

The HUD stats that display normally are all built. The popup for by-position stats are all built. The M-zone columns are all built. VP$IP - by M even has the actual stats done. The other M stats I just need to put the stats together (on the Stats tab), and then put it in a popup and then it's a matter of putting together the writeup. That's still 45 stats, so I can't promise it'll be out today, but I really, really want it to be.

Depending on how fast I can get through this, I will likely release the Tourney version first and an upgraded Cash version (with a few tweaks but nothing major) afterwards, just because I know how much everyone is waiting for the Tourney version and I wouldn't want to delay the Tourney release for a day for some small Cash updates.
