At a maximum; it could be shorter :)

This is not a very advanced question, I'm sure, but since it's HUD-related and everyone's watching this thread I'm sure someone will know the answer: ;)

I'm trying to make my tournament player stat boxes somewhat translucent (because I can't seem to arrange them any which way on Stars to keep them from covering up hole cards...), but when I open up "configure statistics" and move the translucency slider, absolutely nothing happens. :?: What am I doing wrong?

If you have the 'enhanced hud performance' option enabled then translucency is disabled.
You shouldn't really need that option enabled any more - the HUD preforms pretty well for virtually everyone now without it.

Having read through the text file I'm unsure if I need to import the Hud for Tourney's. I downloaded the original and made all the changes manually. I've been using it since then. Is there anything new for Tourney's? If there is, are the changes only in the profile or do I need some stats (ie. delete all colored and reimport)?

I believe there are a few changes to the tournament HUD, but they are pretty minor.
If you want to use the new one you can just download and import it (as long as you are using beta 26). It sounds like Kraada has added a detailed change list in the zip file.
