Results Issue

Postby leeroy818 » Fri Nov 01, 2024 9:01 pm

I recently started playing on a new iPoker skin. Everything looks as though it's set up correctly, and my HUD shows up fine. I played my first session, and was up slightly - around 5euros or something. However, PT4 is showing as a losing session, and I can't figure out why. On top of this, I got a hand all in on the turn, behind to an overpair, but drilled a set on the river. But my all-in adjusted is showing as the same as my winnings - I cannot see any change where that hand will have taken place.

What should I look at within my software which could lead to these things?

Go to 'Database -> Currency', select any sessions/tournaments which have an exchange rate of -1 and click the 'Set Rates' button to fetch the correct exchange rates. Note that you can select a range of rows by holding shift and clicking the start/end and you can also select multiple ones individually by holding CTRL and selecting. This situation normally occurs when the timezone is configured incorrectly for iPoker as their hand histories do not specify what timezone is being used so you should set the time in the iPoker lobby to server time and not your local time. Then in PokerTracker 4 go to 'Configure > Sites & Import Options > iPoker' and select the skin you play at, or if it isn't listed one which uses the same server timezone as your skin. That should mean that the hands import as the correct time, and that should avoid problems with retrieving the exchange rates for future sessions.

If the adjusted result matches the actual result then adjusted equity wasn't calculated for that hand. If this hand had further action on another street after an all-in or if another player called an all-in and then folded to subsequent action then PokerTracker 4 does not calculate adjusted equity as it introduces a bias in the results.
