PT2 Database Error

Postby Kysus » Thu Oct 16, 2008 5:49 am

Im using PostgreSQL 8.2 everything worked fine

Now im always getting the error message:

unable to connect to database 101 - SQLSTATE=08001
Fatal: no pg_hba.conf entry for host ":::1", user "postgres", database "databasename", SSL off

I used the search there I already tried to delete postmaster.pid -> restart -> nothing changed
Admin tools/settings/postgresql was running and i tried to restart -> nothing changed

What could be the problem?
I dont have a new anti virus/firewall but I got a new router.

Go to

Start > Programs > PostgreSQL > Configuration Files > Edit pg_hba.conf

At the bottom of this file there is probably a line that looks like this:

#host all all ::1/128 md5

Remove the "#" at the start of this line and change MD5 to trust so it looks like this:

host all all ::1/128 trust

Then save the file and try it again.
