Replayer crashing PTO

Postby Duxx » Fri Nov 14, 2008 3:28 pm

When I am using the hand-replayer and click the "capital sigma", PTO freezes. It never used to do this. Any ideas?

I have never heard of this problem. There might be a problem with your database. Try using the Utilities > Repair A Poker Database option to fix the file.

This option is not available for posgresql. I have tried the full/vacuum/analyze option but the problem persists.

Does it do it for every hand that is being replayed or just a specific hand? How long have you waited before giving up and ending the program?

Always.

Up to about 20 minutes.

I just tried this with the much smaller Access dB and PTO is still crashing as before.

Very strange. The only thing I can think of is that your version of the program is corrupted somehow. Try installing this patch and see if it freezes after that:

Patch installed: PTO continues to freeze.

It must be something on your PC that is conflicting with it since it doesn't do that for me nor has anyone else reported it. Did you install any other software lately like a new anti-virus?

Also, does PTH v2 also behave this way when you click the sigma?

Not an anti-virus or anything remotely similar.

Clicking the sigma works fine in PT2.
