Hi,

I got following error message:
'Failed to run initdb:-1073741502!
Please see the logfile in 'C:\ProgramFiles\PostgreSQL\8.3\tmp\initdb.log'.
Note! You must read/copy this logfile before you click OK or it will be automatically removed.

So I got to the tmp map before I click OK, but the file initdb.log isn't there.
What do I need to do?

If I click on OK, I got later te following error message:
'MIcrosoft Visual C++ Runtime Library'

Runtime Error!

What version of Windows are you running and what anti-virus/firewall software do you have installed?

Windows 7, just the standard windows firewall, nothing extra

Please try installing PostgreSQL manually from this link and see if that works better for you (once it's installed you can just use it with PT3).

It gives the following error:
There has been an error.
You are trying to run a 64bit installer in a 32bit machine.
The installer will exit now

I think PostgreSQL is installed now, but when I'm trying to connect to the PostgreSQL Server I got following message:
Unable to Connect
Unable to connect to this database. Please check the configuration.

I did it with
Server: localhost
Port: 5432
Database User: postgres
Password dbpass

Click start, type services, and click on it when it appears. In the list find PostgreSQL - is the service listed as running? If not, can you start it?
