That sounds like it could be a file error in your database, possibly from a hard disk error.

First, please try running Database > Housekeeping with the ReIndex option ticked in addition to the defaults.

The second reason for this error is a result of faulty hardware. You can set PostgreSQL to ignore these errors by clicking Start --> Programs --> PostgreSQL --> Configuration Files --> Edit postgresql.conf. In the configuration file that appears, go to the bottom of the file and add the text “zero_damaged_pages = on” on a new line and then save and close the file. Click Start --> Programs --> PostgreSQL --> Reload Configuration and PostgreSQL will ignore the damaged data. If you continue to have problems with that hard drive, you should consider replacing it.

Hi,

I have the same problem with PT4, but I can't run housekeeping, I'm guessing because I need the full version? My HUD is not working either, I suspect because of this.
Is there any way I can solve this problem without having to purchase any more products?

That functionality should exist in the trial and you can use the second method as well. Please give that second method a try first though if you're having trouble with getting housekeeping running.
