Can't run PT4 with Pokerstars.it

I'm encountering some problems in using PT4 with Pokerstars.it client
I'm sure it works as I can see from other italian players using it e discussing on boards

The issue seems to be about finding the proper directory.
Going through the passages of installation, when i come upon the chance of autodetecting PS directory (which I have under the standard C/Programs/Pokerstars.IT) PT4 fails to achieve the goal.
Moreover if I select manually the directory in which I save HH (User-xxxxxxx-AppData-Local-Pokerstars.IT-HandHistory-myscreenname) it doesn't seem to be enough

Initially I thought it was due to the fact that I have also installed Pokerstars.com on my PC and it might have caused issues, since when I tried to click on the launch button, it launched the .com version, but elimanating PS.com didn't work as a solution.
In fact, after that, the launch button ended to be NOT clickable and I can't find how to reassign it to the proper .IT client.

Beside that, I was capable of importing all the hands from the chosen directory, but only manually.
Obviously HUD is not working.

I Had PT3 and always worked fine, so I really can't address the issue.

Any idea? Tyvm

Should I try to disinstall/reinstall PT4, now that I erased .com client? I'm asking before doing it because I'd prefer not to, since I have already imported all my old database from PT3 and it took 4 hours

Please do not uninstall PT4 - that will not help here and may cause other complications.
Read the PokerStars Configuration Guide which explains in detail how to configure things manually if the auto detect doesn't work.
If you're still having problems, please tell us the exact paths that your hand histories are being written to, and what you have configured in PT4.

OK I solved it

Actually at the end I unistalled PT4 and then reinstalled (i didn't see you answer in time )
The problem was in the path i gave : I was giving ---> User-xxxxxxx-AppData-Local-Pokerstars.IT-HandHistory-myscreenname
I tried giving User-xxxxxxx-AppData-Local-Pokerstars.IT-HandHistory that to me is less precise, whatever, now it seems to work.
I hope i didn't mess up anything with the uninstall, otherwise i'll go for a format that it's about time.

Ty anyway, your advice allowed me to see that little difference that was making trouble. Autodetect still don't work.

That's good to hear - thanks for the update.
I believe the country-specific PokerStars skins do things a little differently which is why auto detect doesn't work. I hope we'll be able to address this.
