Filters allow you to restrict which hands are used to generate the reports in PT3.
By applying a filter any hands which do not meet the specified criteria will not be shown.
Note: Some reports in PT3 are based on overall Session results rather than individual hands (Player Summary, Sessions by Time/Table, Winnings) and these reports are not affected by filters which only remove specific hands.
These reports will only be filtered if the whole session is filtered out - i.e. if no hands in the session meet the criteria. If any hands in a session match the criteria then these reports will show stats from the whole session.
Hand-based reports (the rest: Player Statistics, Details, Hands, Positions, ...) will only show stats from hands which meet the filter criteria.
To open the filters window, click the Filters button.
This will open the Filters window:
Here you can add your filters and apply them to the reports, as well as storing them for future use (see below).
The tabs along the top of the Filter window split filters into logical groups.
When you find the filter you want to apply you click to add a tick to the checkbox to the left of the filter name (in most cases anyway - there are a few filters like those on the General tab which are applied differently).
You can add several filters at once by checking multiple options - see below for more information.
Once you have chosen and enabled the filters you want to use you need to apply them.
There are a few ways to do this.
- If you click the Add Selected to Filters button (bottom left) then the selected filters will be added to the list on the right but not applied to the reports.
- If you click Apply (bottom centre) then the filters will be added to the list and applied to the reports and the filters window will remain open.
- If you click OK (bottom centre) then the filters will be added to the list and applied to the reports and the filters window will close.
Once your filters have been applied to the reports you will see them listed above the report.
You can remove all applied filters by clicking the Clear button (next to the Filters button) - alternatively you can add, remove or combine individual filters in the Filters window (see below for more information).
