PokerTracker 4 imports text hand histories that are saved to your computer by the 888 Poker Network poker client.
Once imported, these hands are stored within PostgreSQL and made available for review and analysis in your PT4 database.
This process must be correctly configured so that PokerTracker 4 can retrieve these hand histories and also display the Heads Up Display (HUD) on your 888 Poker Network table(s) correctly.
This guide is intended for users who wish to manually configure PokerTracker 4 to import hand histories from the 888 Poker Network.
Alternatively you may choose to use the automated Setup Assistant.
For general information on the initial setup of PokerTracker 4, please consult the PokerTracker 4 Quick Start Guide.
PokerTracker 4 can support the 888 and WSOP.com poker clients in the State of New Jersey.
The WSOP poker client in the State of Nevada does not store hand histories locally on your computer, therefore PokerTracker cannot support WSOP in Nevada. If you wish to use PokerTracker 4 in Nevada while playing at WSOP.com, please contact WSOP's management to request that they store hand histories on the local computer. Nevada State Gaming Technical Regulations do not require locally stored hand histories, but it is an optional choice that the poker gaming operator has chosen to ignore.
