Reformatted HD

I backed up everything and then installed a new HD and obviously it is a clean HD. I can access my old files from the back-up but firstly at what part can I find the reg code and also secondly what is necessary to restore to the new HD? Presumably the Processed folder but what else as if I can avoid transferring useless stuff that is great?

The registration code is saved in the PokerTracker.cfg file - if that's restored you should be returned to registered status. I could also email you your registration code again but I don't see it as attached to your forum account - if you PM me the email address you used, I'll resend the code to you.

That should be fine thx as I can see a cfg file and I just wasn't sure which was relevant. If I get stuck though I'll get back to you. Could you tell me though which files are relevant just to avoid re-instating dead info?

Since we found and resent you your registration code you shouldn't worry about that aspect of things any further.

So you do not have an actual backup zip file? Did you use a custom HUD, custom stats, custom reports or custom notes?

Im not sure if I backed anything up other than with my cloud. I think there are other files to do with HUD config etc but not certain what to do with them. Thought I might have to rebuild the HUD. But did you says you resent the code because I haven't seen anything in either email?

I definitely resent it; make sure it didn't end up in your spam folder.

The Layouts.pt3 file is your HUD layout - if you can find that, install PT3 on your new machine and copy that file into your Program Files\PokerTracker 3\Data folder and then when you start up PT3 you'll have your layouts. ReportsCustomized.pt3 are custom reports and StatDefinitionsCustomized.pt3 are custom stats and go in that same directory.

Thank you the reg code was in my hotmail account but I should have received that email to my gmail account as well? Part of the reason for getting a gmail account so would I be able to transfer the reg account to the gmail address because now I don't really trust hotmail as forwarding on everything? Also though, I think I purchased PT3 in steps of micro - full edition and then with the add-on of Omaha and I now only have the reg code for micro-stakes. Is that enough to get what I had previously or do I need to show that I had all editions?

The one registration code does both and that's all you need.
