What's the cutoff for counting 1 session?

Postby Goomashroom » Sat Mar 08, 2008 5:11 am

What I mean by this is when you display "Sessions - By Time", how much time is needed between tables before it breaks it up into separate sessions? If I'm understanding this correctly, currently if you open a table, play a few hands, close a table, come back in 5-15 minutes and open a new table, PT3 will organize this as 1 single session. So how far apart do sessions need to be before they're counted as 2 separate sessions?

After thinking about this more, I think 30 minutes is a little high. Most sites will boot you from the table well before 30 minutes.

I am thinking that 15 minutes may be more accurate...

Nitty - I'd prefer 20 (enough time to fix some food, 15 is a bit hurried).

Ideally, a feature to multiple-select and combine sessions would make the time limit irrelevant, and you could reduce it to 5 minutes (bathroom break) or similar...

Indeed, a function with the possibility to merge/split sessions would be cool.
