Have posted in alpha thread, but wasn't sure if would be better to post here as it is really a beta 16 issue. Basically serious problems for me moving from last alpha to beta 16. Installs ok, but when you start up b16 it doesn't think the cache exists and asks for it to be build. If you follow that instruction it errors out and fails to build the cache. I have submitted a support ticket, please see alpha forum for more info.

Wasn't Ongame Hud support supposed to be on this release???

I appreciate the effort you guys but in the development, but you have to understand that this is getting annoying. I bought PT3 a while ago, but the most important feature is missing and all we Ongame players keep hearing is: Sorry, but it's coming.

btw: I read somewhere that I could get a license for PT2 and Hud. Where can I get that?

That % indicator is a bit misleading. The progress isn't updated % by %, it is as major tasks are completed. So if you do a full housekeeping, probably after a cluster it will jump up to 25%. TO check if the clustering / cache building/ etc is still running have a look in the log files.

PokerStars observed tables can now only import 30 hands per session (30 minutes required between sessions before new hands can import) REQUIRED BY POKERSTARS

Why is this?

Can you go into greater detail about this?

So if I have 10 tables open only 30 hands will be observed for each table?

"30 mins required between sessions" What does this mean exactly? 30 mins between sessions sound to me like I can't import hands if I open 1 game and then a 2nd right after the first. The 2nd will not import until 30 mins after the 1st?

Yes, it jumps in 25% increments after the vacuum, cluster, analyze, and then goes to updating cache. It did the first 3 quickly on mine and then took a long time on the cache update for me... I think since I did the first trio just last night. Overall the "housekeeping" took just under 2 hours for me and my database only has about 100K hands.

Cheers

Cool, got the real % from the log files.

What are the numbers in it though, anyone know?

2008/08/28 02:59:21.149: [00004712][StatManager] Cache update is 45 percent complete (14,013/31,140).

Are those players or wut?
