Ive added colour ranges etc etc and clicked apply, now I check to see if they have saved and they haven't? Why? Rather frustrating.

If you edit the hud layout from the table, you need to PT-icon -> Save Layout when you Apply your changes and return to the table.

I didn't do it from the table, I did it from the main application.

Make sure you "Apply" the window, not "Close" it.
If you then open the hud config window again, you should see your colour ranges still there?
Just another thought, what stat are you adding ranges to? It's not a money stat, or one that's already coloured, is it?

Fixed that problem - can't find out how to make it translucent though. Have tried multiple times, nothing seems to be working

No, translucency doesn't currently work for popups.

Sorry I wasn't clear. I mean full translucency with the group boxes that are default on the table.

No, you can't yet have transparent stat group backgrounds - we're hoping to be able to make this possible.

Well ive been watching a few past videos that i think are using PT2 and Poker ACE Hud and they basically show the table, with no group stats and when they click on a players name the popup comes out with the necessary details.

Are you saying this is not possible?

Ah, I see what you mean..
No, you need to have a Group on the table which you can click on to trigger the popups.
This group can have just a single stat, e.g. the player's name, or anything you like - and you could make it as translucent as you like if you don't want to be able to see if very much (just don't make it completely clear so you don't lose where it is!).
Note: I suggested this to someone else who tried it with a single "text" stat (an 'X' or something) and it seems that you need to have an actual stat in the group for it to work).
