When can we expect the next beta? Sorry to sound impatient, but updates are still really slow :(

I haven't heard an update, but there was a really nasty bug that we just found in the last alpha that absolutely needs to get fixed before the beta is released. I don't know how much further that will delay things, but trust me, you don't want to have every custom stat, column and report duplicated when you update your cache.

Did you actually export your tournament hands?
You have to export cash and tournaments separately.

Nope, I assumed after checking them that it would export. If this isn't how it works then the dialog box should be intuative. The way it currently works is that it ignored the tournament tab completely after I checked the boxes (because I hit export under the cash tab). It should detect that I checked the tournaments and export them after exporting the cash games IMO or at the very least warn you that you've selected buyins/tourney types but they weren't exported upon closing the dialog.

Also is something weird going on with your login db? It says my original account (AntelopeSalad) doesn't exist, had to make a new account.

HUD worked fine btw, other than having to re-do their positions it all carried over fine from build 3 b17.

I'll suggest that the "Export Hands" buttons be more clearly labelled, and that there could be a button to export both.

AntelopeSalad_ wrote:Btw I didn't read every page in this thread (yet) but there seems to be a bug in the General -> Player Summary page regarding total number of hands in a session.

Just finished a quick session and the [Hands] tabs shows I played 618, the [Graphs] tab shows 618, the [Positions] tab shows 618, but the [General] -> Player Summary tab shows 573 (and shows the profits based off 573 hands). I restarted PT/Cleared/Refreshed, etc. and won't budge from 573 when I filter it by today.

Makes no sense because if I remove the filter and only filter hands from that limit it shows 24,628 in every tab (I don't know if this includes or excludes the missing 45 hands it won't pickup in General).

My Stars HH folder is empty so it definitely processed them. Reimporting the hands manually from PT's /processed/ folder results in 618 duplicates too.

To avoid this discrepency you need to configure "My Day Starts At" to a time that you never play, say 5am. Then each "day" stats will run from 5am to 5am instead of midnight to midnight.

Ok. It's a bit late to test it (I played hands after the 618 initial hands in the same day). Is this because the summary output is using a different method of calcing when a hand is played vs the other tabs? In other words, everything is working as intended and good to go?

I ended up putting in a ticket before sneds replied and they said that my database might be corrupt and that I should try rebuilding it from scratch because they couldn't reproduce the problem on a clean db. I guess it's possible it could be corrupt but pretty unlikely since I made the db from scratch 45min before I played those hands.

Btw unrelated to this issue, but related to B25... the HUD in the replayer seems pretty buggy. I haven't figured out a pattern yet but it randomly decides to not work when viewing certain hands. Then after it just stops functioning the only way to get it to ever show the HUD is to restart PT completely. Fooling around with the checkbox has no effect.

So far it's failed to load the HUD 2 hands in a row every single time. Ex. I'm viewing hand #1 and the HUD is fine, then I close the window and view hand #2 and now the HUD doesn't work (and never works again until I restart PT).

Do you have your time zone set properly in Windows? If you don't and you were playing at what Windows thought was midnight, it could still cause these issues.

The replayer issue when you double click on a hand to open it individually is known and is resolved for the next release. If you use the play icon at the bottom right of the report to open the replayer you shouldn't have any problems with it, in the meantime.

Don't know if this has been posted before, but please-o-please remove the feature where I need to confirm if I want to add/edit a note on a player. It's really annoying and I don't feel that there is any need to confirm that, since I'm not deleting a db or anything :)

If you just hit the enter key instead of clicking the little + button, you won't see the confirmation window, and the note editor will close on its own after the note has been added.

Come to think of it my clock may have been off by an hour. I remember adjusting for DST manually last week (can't depend on Windows actually working!) then realizing my clock was off because Windows already adjusted for it.

That would do it then; PT3 takes its time information from Windows.
