How many Full Tilt hands are we talking about here?

I import about 100000 hands and have about 60 errors.

If you could isolate a couple of files with errors, zip them up and attach them to a support ticket it will really help -- don't worry about the extra hands that import properly that are included, we'll just ignore those.

Hey I got some serius problems on ongame that is really annoying, been happening for longtime now, its if I play more then 2 tables, it keep freezing when the pt3 updates my hands, and it takes long time before it updates my hud stats, sometimes it dont even update the hud on some tables, so sometimes when i play 6-8 tables, i only have hud on 3 or 4 tables because it take so long to update, and it misses many hands, but most annoying is when it freezes the tables when im in some hands for 15sec to 60seconds, so sometimes I lose the hand because I get times out so annoying.

Hope it will be fixed in next beta, because this is so annoying.

The OnGame hand history database file causes a lot of problems which we work around as best we can, but it just isn't that consistant..

Please try resetting the OnGame hand history file - Stop auto import and close OnGame down then open the OnGame Configuration tab and click "Clear Databases Now" (this won't affect PT3 at all). Then restart Ongame and import.

Why is PT so slow to load?

If I open PT3, although the splash screen appears in a few seconds, the program itself often takes 3 or 4 minutes, somtimes it just does not appear at all (even though Task Manager shows it is running). My laptop is not the fastest in the world but it runs Vista Basic pretty slick. There is not other program I use on my pc that takes even close to this amount of time to get busy.

If I am running another other application PT3 frequently doesn't show up at all.

SPECIFIC FOR THE BETA 25

2-3 times now PT3 has opened but the HUD does not and I have had to shut PT3 and re-open 4-5 times before the HUD works properly. This is intermittent, but def. was not the case before Beta25.

Slow response time is beginning to look like a feature of PT3, and a pretty frustrating one that just keeps coming back.

It's called "Player Analysis", it's like a second window where all players you're currently playing with at the tables appear in a list and detailed information about everyone of them. For example information like "high check/fold as preflop raiser" or "Very high preflop 4-bet" etc. etc. and a really nice feature where you can see the range he already 3-betted with for example or his coldcalling range.

"High check/fold as preflop raiser"... according to who? This kind of information is highly questionable. For one, how did they determine what a "good" check/fold as preflop raiser value is? Do they take into consideration different playing styles? There are, after all, more than one winning style, and they don't all match up exactly in various aspects. Do they take the number of players at the table account? What might be a high value at a 10 player table might be extremely low at a heads up table. These are just a few questions that need answered. Like I said, this information is extremely questionable, and I would hesitate to place any confidence in it at all.

We may provide something like this in the future, but it's going to have to be reliable information. We're not going to simply accumulate a large number of hand histories, look for the winners, then average their stat values and say that's what a "good" value is. Unreliable or misleading information is often less valuable than no information at all.

Hi Josh,

i agree with everything you said it's pretty logical. The way to categorize this values in low, high, very high etc. is questionable because there's no real standard value you can compare them to.
Also the fact, that a player's behavior is different on shorter tables compared to fullring tables but if you haven't tracked hands of an opponent on different holdem types like fullring, HU etc.but only 6max games for example this information isn't too bad.

Nevertheless just one example why it's still a usefull feature in a general way. Let's assume you have 12k hands of a 6max No limit regular, player analysis tells you, he check/folded 75% or 24 out of 32 times as preflop aggressor it's still a very nice information and you can exploit it by betting a little bit more than half a pot in position.

What i really liked about this feature was, it showed me all type of hands in a matrix a player 3-betted, called 3-bets, 4-betted, limp/raised with etc. Of course you need a huge samplesize in your database but that's no problem.
